Warranty & Support

The real question behind “what is the warranty?” is usually simpler: if this machine breaks in three years, am I stuck with an expensive paperweight? Here is the honest answer.

Two-year warranty on electrical components and motors

The PLC, touchscreen, contactors, encoders, switches and all drive motors are covered for two years from delivery. That is twice the one-year term standard for this class of imported machinery, and we extend it deliberately — these are the parts that decide whether the machine runs at all, and the expensive ones to replace.

Coverage means we supply the replacement component. It does not cover labour, and it does not cover damage caused by running the machine outside its stated air, power, temperature or humidity limits.

Wear parts and consumables are not covered

Anything designed to be consumed in normal operation is a wear part: nozzles, spray guns, blades, belts, sand and air tubing, brushes, filter elements. These wear at a rate that depends entirely on how you run the machine, so no honest warranty can cover them.

What we do instead is tell you the service life up front and keep the parts cheap. On the sandblasting machines, for example, a boron carbide nozzle lasts around 300 hours and a spray gun around 700 — and a full year of wear parts for a machine in steady single-shift production runs roughly US$600.

Getting parts to you

Most parts for these machines are made to our own specification and come from our factory rather than a general industrial supplier. We are not going to claim otherwise — a worn blast nozzle is not something you can pick up from a U.S. distributor.

What we can promise is speed. Wear parts ship by air, typically 3 to 5 days door to door. They are small and light, so air freight is the normal route rather than an emergency one. You are not waiting on a container.

If a covered component fails inside the two-year term, contact us with the machine details and a description of the problem. We diagnose it with you first — many faults turn out to be adjustment or wear-part related and get solved the same day. If the component has genuinely failed, we send the replacement.

What is covered

Support you can actually reach

A warranty is only as good as the person answering the phone. ArtCut support is available from the U.S. during U.S. business hours — not only from a factory eleven time zones away.

  • Setup and commissioning. Help getting the machine installed, calibrated, and producing correctly.
  • Operator training. Guidance on settings, technique, and getting consistent results.
  • Troubleshooting. Walkthrough support by phone, WhatsApp, or video when something is not running right.
  • Parts sourcing. If you need a replacement part, we will tell you exactly what it is so you can buy it locally or from us.

Common questions

What counts as a “core component”?

Motors, the control system, and the drives. These are the parts that determine whether the machine runs at all, and they are the expensive ones to replace — which is exactly why they carry the longest coverage. Everything designed to be consumed during normal operation (nozzles, blades, belts, tubes) is a wear part, covered separately below.

What happens if a covered component fails inside two years?

Contact us with the machine details and a description of the problem. We diagnose it with you first, since many issues turn out to be adjustment or wear-part related and can be fixed the same day. If a covered component has genuinely failed, we arrange the replacement.

Can I buy extra wear parts up front?

Yes. Some shops running heavy production prefer to stock beyond the included three-year supply. Tell us your expected output and we will suggest a sensible quantity.

Do you support machines bought from someone else?

We support ArtCut equipment. For consumables like masking film and abrasives, we supply any shop regardless of whose machine you run.
